The event allowed Rookie Eagles members to meet the entire West Coast Eagles squad, while enjoying a visit to Perth Zoo with their family.

West Coast’s Beau Waters courage was put to the test, when he opened the event with a snake handling show.
The fearless defender was invited by Perth Zoo keepers to handle the 13kg boa constrictor, while Rookie Eagles members learnt more about the impressive reptile.
Waters joked to fans that although the snake was large and scary, he was more afraid of his wife.
The entire West Coast Eagles squad then arrived by zebra cars for a signing session, with Nic Naitanui amongst the most popular with young fans.
After scoring autographs from their football heroes, Rookie Eagles members were able to explore Perth Zoo to finish off the day.
