Since its inception in 1935, the Keith ‘Bluey’ Truscott Memorial Trophy has been awarded to Melbourne’s best and fairest player. Since Alan La Fontaine won the first award that year, the great names of the Club have been immortalised on the ‘Bluey’ Truscott shield.
