Merchandise Team Leader - Carlton FC

This position is responsible for maximizing sales through customer service at the Carlton Shop operated at Visy Park, Carlton match games and Carlton functions.

Reports to:

  • Merchandise Manager

    Responsibilities:
  • Liaising/assisting all customers/clients at the Carlton Shop and Match Day Venues
  • Maintain merchandise standards to maximize sales
  • High presentation standards of the Carlton Shop in terms of stock displays, point of sales displays, store presentation and cleanliness
  • Complying with all shop policies and requests of the Merchandise Manager with respect to receiving payments from customers
  • Stock Control and Inventory Management
  • Loss prevention
  • Preparation of staff rosters for casuals
  • Store administration
  • Organize and co-ordinate incoming and out going stock 
  • OH&S

    Skills and Experience:
  • Strong customer focus and outstanding customer service skills
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills
  • Cash handling, Eftpos transactions experience
  • Telephone/Internet orders experience
  • Flexible - able to work late nights, weekends and public holidays
  • Positive personality and high standard of personal presentation
  • Work well within a team environment and leads by example
  • Retail/Sales experience an advantage
