Fremantle forward Matthew Pavlich has undergone minor cartilage surgery on his right knee today after sustaining the injury during pre-season training.A decision was made by Pavlich in consultation with the club’s medical staff to have the minor surgical procedure performed now so he can resume full pre-season training after the Christmas break.The 23 year old entered hospital this morning to have the procedure completed and was released prior to midday.Pavlich will be back at Fremantle Oval on Monday to continue his current rehabilitation program from post-season shoulder surgery which is progressing better than expected at this time.
