2008 Calder Cannons Best and Fairest and Runner-up in the 2008 Morrish Medal Dylan Joyce signed with Williamstown this week. The diminutive rover/forward had an outstanding 2008 season which also involved playing in the victorious Vic Metro side in the Under 18 National Championships.

Williamstown General Manager, Brendan Curry stated "that it was a coup for Dylan to sign with our club as he had been pursued by a number of VFL and SANFL clubs. Dylan has attributes which we believe our senior side is deficient in and we believe he can have a real impact at VFL level in 2009. Naturally Dylan was disappointed not to be given an opportunity via the National or Rookie Draft, but he is a determined young fella who we want to give every opportunity to."
