The Brisbane Lions AFC has struck a five-year agreement with Ticketmaster which will provide advanced membership and ticketing services for Lions members and supporters for Season 2010 and beyond.

As part of the relationship, Ticketmaster will become the official provider of daily ticketing for all Brisbane Lions home games at the Gabba.

The Lions will also implement Ticketmaster's hi-tech Archtics Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software which will improve coordination of the Club's membership database and enhance the Lions' membership experience with readily accessible online member services.

The database facility will offer a 'self-service' interface for members to perform key tasks such as renewing their membership, adding new members and changing their contact details directly through the new system.

Brisbane Lions Chief Executive Michael Bowers believes the Ticketmaster partnership will directly and practically benefit the Club and its followers.

"We are pleased to commence with Ticketmaster and to develop a successful partnership for years to come," Mr Bowers said.

"We look forward to introducing one fully integrated membership and daily ticketing solution that covers all our members and fans as we enter an exciting new era at the Club."

Ticketmaster Australia and New Zealand Chief Operating Officer Chris Forbes was thrilled to be aligned with the Brisbane Lions.

"Ticketmaster is committed to providing quality service, distribution and platforms that will meet the current and future ticketing and marketing needs for the Brisbane Lions," Mr Forbes said.

"Archtics® continues to grow its importance in supporting member based groups and the Lions will make it available to all their staff, emphasising their commitment to their membership base."

Tickets for the first two regular Brisbane Lions home games for Season 2010 (Round 1 v West Coast and Round 2 v Carlton) go on sale through Ticketmaster from Monday 1 February 2010 and will be available for fans to purchase via www.ticketmaster.com.au
