JARRYD Roughhead has beennominated for the round 15 Toyota AFL Goal of the Year award.

Roughead won the nomination for his effort against Richmond in the third quarter that sawhim knocked to the ground whilst contesting the mark, gather the loose ball andemerge from the pack to snap a sensational goal.

In 2007, the winners of the Toyota AFL Markand Goal of the Year awards will each receive$5000 for their grassrootsClub, also presented by Toyota; the use of a Toyota Kluger CV for 12months; a crystal replica of the official,perpetual Toyota AFL Mark of the Year and Toyota AFL Goal of the Year trophies,presented by the AFL and Toyota, and the Alex Jesaulenko Medal(mark) and Phil Manassa Medal (goal), presented by Toyota.

At the end of the Toyota AFLPremiership season, the AFL All-Australian Selection Committee will decide theoverall winner from the 22 weekly winners.
