Adelaide have regained David Mackay and Scott Thompson for Sunday’s game against the Brisbane Lions at AAMI Stadium.

The midfielders have been named in the Crows’ 22, along with Jack Gunston, the youngest player on Adelaide’s primary list, who will make his AFL debut.

Gunston is the seventh player to make his debut for the club this season. He was drafted from the Sandringham Dragons last November with pick 29. Gunston has played as a forward this year with SANFL club Central District - he kicked five goals in his last game - and had a taste of AFL action in pre-season NAB Challenge matches.

Out of last week’s team are Bernie Vince and Matthew Jaensch (club suspensions) and Tony Armstrong.

Both Mackay and Thompson got through Friday's closed session and pulled up well and are ready to resume. Mackay has missed four weeks with a groin injury while Thompson missed last week after hurting his calf.
