Will started his football career at the Tyabb Football Club in the Under 9s.  He left Tyabb at the age of twelve and crossed to Mt. Eliza, a club where the Suhr name has a long and distinguished history.

Will’s father Tony and uncle Mark both played senior football at the Mounties, and the move provides Will with the opportunity to add another Suhr to the Honour Board at Wooralla Drive.

A talented and courageous footballer, Will’s trophy cabinet is surprisingly bare of any Best and Fairest Awards, but his Runner-Up trophy from the Under 11s takes pride of place amongst numerous Coaches’ Awards.

At representative level, Will represented FDJFL at Interleague level in the Under 16s, and spent some time on the list at the Dandenong Stingrays.

A long and effective pre-season has set Will up for an outstanding year in 2010. He started the season by playing all practice matches with a very talented senior squad, and made his senior debut in Round 1 against Mornington.

Will’s long term football goals are to be a regular in the Mt Eliza seniors, and - of course - to one day share in a Premiership with his mates.
