Adcock hobbled from the ground during the third quarter after the collision and failed to return. Already renowned for his courage and attack on the ball, Adcock continually threw himself at every contest in the trying Cairns conditions. His leg will be assessed during the week and tested prior to Friday night’s match against the Western Bulldogs.
In other injury news, Haydn Kiel and Chris Johnson will miss this weekend's match with the Bulldogs through injury. Kiel will be sideline for the next 4-6 weeks after suffering a hamstring injury, while Johnson has a minor foot complaint that will keep him out of the side for one week.
Jason Roe has recovered from his knee injury sustained against Sydney in Round 21 last year and will be available for selection this week. Full forward Daniel Bradshaw will also be tested for this weekend's match.
