JONATHAN Brown will make a decision on his playing future soon, the Coleman medallist says.
Brown, 26, is out of contract with the Brisbane Lions at the end of the season, and his status has generated plenty of media interest over the course of the season.
Speaking after the Lion's six-point loss to Carlton at the Gabba, which almost put an end to the club's finals aspirations, Brown said he was close to making a decision.
While not divulging details, the said he expected the situation to be resolved sooner rather than later.
“I don’t think it’s far away to be honest,” Brown said.
“I don’t think playing finals or not playing finals would have made a difference to the timing.”
