The SS&A Ovens & Murray administers 10 clubs with 60 teams in what is considered the strongest Victorian Country Football Netball League. This rare opportunity exists to join our team in a dynamic and changing environment in a full time position within League Operations, encompassing football and netball.
Reporting to the General Manager you will be responsible for administration duties including clearances & registrations, tribunals, review and implementation of Laws, regulations and rules, maintaining match day results, monitoring risk management issues and interacting with all football and netball bodies, both internally and externally. Liaising with the O&M Board and Member Clubs, you will communicate the latest policies and strategies.
Displaying a thorough knowledge of the Victorian country sporting scene and current issues, you will have operational sports administration experience or similar, with a track record that reflects an understanding of marketing initiatives.
Your ability to influence and engender support for O&M initiatives will be highly regarded, as will your business acumen and demonstrated political astuteness. To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated experience in using Microsoft Office software, internet, email and MYOB. Knowledge and experience in the use of Sporting Pulse/Interfuse sport base content management systems would be highly regarded.
