The Magpies backed up their round nine victory over West Coast with a 38-point defeat of Port Adelaide, which came after a commanding second half.
Brown said the Pies were pleased to gain some much needed winning momentum.
"We aimed to make top four at the start of the year. We've set goals and that's probably one of our biggest goals; to get that second chance in the finals," Brown said.
"I think it's gettable. None of us would be playing if we didn't think it was gettable. We've just got to stay focused and take it one week at a time.
"Two great wins have instilled some real great confidence in the group, so we're just really looking forward to Melbourne now."
The Magpies held recovery at the Lexus Centre on Monday morning after getting through the clash with Port unscathed.
"Everyone pulled up really well. We ran the game out well, there were no injuries, and we've got a longer week so it will give guys time to freshen up so we should be shaping up really well for Melbourne."
Brown said it was pleasing the Pies were able to finish the game with Port Adelaide so strongly, despite playing in Perth the weekend before.
"It wasn't surprising. We really pride ourselves on fitness because we do a lot of hard work during the pre-season for exactly that reason," he said.
"We travel well so that doesn't affect us and we play a lot of short weeks, so we don't really think about it. We're quite happy to run out games."
He said the seven-day break before the Magpies face Melbourne next Monday meant the side could get a few players, such as Travis Cloke, Ben Johnson, Paul Medhurst, Anthony Rocca and Sean Rusling, back from injury.
"They'll come into contention. There's a lot of guys with injuries that will come into contention to come back," he said.
"We won't know until closer to the game."
