The Collingwood Football Club is sad to acknowledge the passing of the longest serving supporter in the history of the club's existence, Charles McCallum.

McCallum supported the Magpies for over 80 years and recently celebrated his 103rd birthday with Collingwood defender Nathan Brown.

"I have been a Collingwood man for over 80 years," McCallum told Brown on his 103rd birthday last year.

"I love the club, the team and the memories."

MacCallum was in attendance for the 1935, 1936, 1953, 1958 and 1990 grand final wins.

His passion for the club will be sorely missed but his legacy as the longest serving Collingwood supporter will be remembered and cherished forever.

McCallum passed away peacefully with his family and friends by his side.

McCallum will be farewelled later this week with his Collingwood cap and scarf to the tune of the club song.
