WEST Coast coach John Worsfold has put his under-performing list on notice in the wake of Michael Braun's retirement.

Worsfold said he had spoken to several out-of-form players about their performances this season and hinted the club would make at least five changes to its senior list at the end of the season.

The Eagles, who sit in 15th place on the ladder with a 2-12 win-loss record, are desperate to turn their fortunes around in 2009 and are likely to be a major player during trade week.

Worsfold said the remaining eight weeks of the season would be used to determine the fate of several players.

"You have to have three picks in the draft ... (and) we've got a couple of kids who are putting up their hands to be promoted off the rookie list," he told radio station 6PR.

"Certainly Ryan Davis and Beau Wilkes have got good cases to say they would like to come off our rookie list and onto our senior list, so if we promote those two it means we have to have five players off the current senior list.

"Michael Braun is one ... there are four other players that we've got to have a look at there.

"They are either players that are out of contract currently or by trading for draft picks as well.

"Those things are on the cards to be looked at over the remaining eight weeks of the season, but then also when our season finishes we get the chance to really sit down and consider where we are going moving forward."

Braun, who has played 222 games for the Eagles, confirmed 2008 would be his last season after a debilitating knee injury finally got the better of him.
