Hawthorn let their football do the talking on Saturday night with a 51-point win over Essendon.

While ‘Buddy’ stole the show, Hawthorn fans would be pleased with the successful return of Luke Hodge and the ‘goal of the year’ contender courtesy of Michael Osborne.

Astoundingly, in the midst of career-best form, Sam Mitchell and Grant Birchall were held to just four kicks between them against the Bombers.

Jarryd Morton and ‘Joey’ Kennedy’s continued improvement would encourage their coach. The boys’ input will be crucial this week in Adelaide as injuries continue to take their toll at the club.

Where does Michael Osborne’s goal rate amongst ‘goal of the year’ contenders?

What positions do you see Morton and Kennedy filling long-term for the Hawks?

Can Buddy and Roughy finish first and second in the Coleman medal?
