FORMER Melbourne forward Brad Miller looks set to join Richmond according to reports.

The Australian reports that Miller has been invited to join the Tigers in a mentoring role for Jack Riewoldt and the injured Ben Griffiths.

Miller played just six games for the Demons this season but won the club best and fairest for VFL side Casey, where he booted 10 goals in one game.

Will Thursfield and Richard Tambling look set to leave Punt Rd but the Tigers could welcome in Essendon midfielder Bachar Houli and Carlton’s Shaun Grigg. Richmond is reported to have offered Grigg a three-year contract after he nominated them as his club of choice.

Tambling has been in talks with Adelaide with The Australian reporting the Crows could on-trade their compensatory pick for losing Nathan Bock to seal the deal.

Thursfield met with Mark Harvey on Friday as the Fremantle coach looks to replace key defender Chris Tarrant who is seeking a return home to Melbourne.

Tarrant is reportedly keen to return to his former club Collingwood where he will have meetings next week.

He won’t be joining them as part of any trade but Troy Selwood is headed for a family reunion of sorts at Geelong in an administrative role.

The Herald Sun reports that Selwood will join the club where his younger brother Joel this week won the best and fairest.

Troy Selwood was axed by the Brisbane Lions at the end of the season.
