Bendigo Bank Cats coach Leigh Tudor has declared Geelong’s supporters the most passionate fans in the VFL.

Tudor said he expected Cats fans to again turn out in their droves to TEAC Oval on Saturday afternoon to see the Cats tackle North Ballarat for a place in the grand final.

“Well, they already have come out and supported the team all year,” he said.

“I’ve got no doubt that we’ve got the best support of all the VFL clubs.

“So I just expect them to turn up again like they always do and they’ve been fantastic for the VFL side all year.”

The Cats played in front of a healthy qualifying final crowd against Coburg last week, and with no Geelong AFL competition this week, the Cats expect a near-capacity crowd at the boutique Port Melbourne oval.

Tickets can be purchased at the gate for only $15, while children under 15 are free.

The action gets underway from 1.10pm.
