Fremantle President Rick Hart said today that “this is an outstanding opportunity for sport in Western Australia”.
“We congratulate the Government for their vision and outstanding commitment to sport, particularly Australian Football, with this decision,” Mr Hart said.
“Our club looks forward to working with Government and our owners, the West Australian Football Commission, in establishing the design and usage arrangements for the new stadium.
“It is critical that Fremantle, as an anchor tenant, has a significant involvement in this process and a strong presence at the new stadium.
“This is tremendous for Western Australian and the sporting public who will be able to enjoy state-of-the art facilities in the future,” said Mr Hart
