2006 draftee Albert Proud will make his AFL senior debut this week when the Lions take on Geelong at Kardinia Park on Sunday afternoon.

Fellow first year players Daniel Dzufer and Matthew Tyler failed to make the final team and will remain as emergencies.

Proud is one of four inclusions to the team that lost to the Bulldogs last weekend.

Ruckman Cameron Wood and defender Jason Roe also return while goal sneak Ashley McGrath has been passed fit to play against the Cats.

Mitch Clark (quad), Marcus Allan, Chris Schmidt and Rhan Hooper (omit) have been left out of the side.
