Season 2008 promises to be a massive season for the Hawthorn Football Club.

Another year on and the young Hawks have had a taste of finals football and are currently adding another tough pre-season under their collective belts.

Veteran Shane Crawford is coming off the back of a stellar 2007 season - his 15th, while draftee Cyril Rioli is amongst those pushing for their first game.

The defense has had another season to mature, the forward line has shown at times it can dominate while the midfield is emerging as one of the competitions most impressive lines.

With captain Sam Mitchell and vice captain Luke Hodge leading from the front – it is an exciting time to be on board with the Hawks.

What are your expectation for 2008? Who do you think will be the Hawks' emerging stars? Which draftees will make the biggest impression? Which will be our hardest matches and why? Who will the hawks match up best against? And what would you do differently if you where in the coaches box?
