The Bob Rose oval played host to over 800 young Magpie fans on Tuesday, in the first of two McDonald’s Buckley’s Brigade footy clinics.

With not a cloud in the sky, children of all ages were taken through the paces with all their favourite Collingwood players.

Chris Tarrant was on hand to give lessons in goal kicking, Heath Shaw took kicking practice, while Shane O’Bree showed the little ones how to take a grab. Paul Licuria was seen doing the tango-snake with a train of 40 kids running behind him, and Travis Cloke took tackling drills with some of the bigger children.

It was a fantastic day, with smiles-a-plenty, and loads of Magpie hopefuls showing off their potential as rising Collingwood stars.
