Icke confirmed that there had been interest from other clubs in the 25-year-old but wouldn't specify which teams.
"There's been a little bit (of interest)," Icke said.
"I'd prefer not to say (which clubs). He's overseas at this point… at the moment there hasn't been enough for us to have to react to it though, but that might change tomorrow."
On Setanta's younger brother Aisake, who is out of contract at the club, Icke said he didn't want to speculate on the 23-year-old's future until he spoke to him.
But he did confirm that there hadn't been any interest in the younger of the brothers.
Aisake has yet to play a senior game for the club.
