After Coca Cola generously donated this benefit to the Ronald McDonald House Charity as an auction item, a group of lucky Power Supporters made their way down to the Allan Scott Power Headquarters for a “Money Can’t Buy Experience”.
Young Darcy Allan and Samuel Kean (seen pictured) were greeted by 5 of their Power heroes - Daniel Motlop, Danny Meyer, Daniel Stewart, Matthew Lobbe and Matt Thomas - who took the boys out onto Alberton Oval for a one on one Goal Kicking Clinic.
First, Daniel Motlop showed off his freaky goal kicking skills by defying logic and kicking goals from every angle, then coached Darcy and Samuel on how it’s done. Meanwhile the other Power players also demonstrated how to kick goals at the elite level and encouraged the boys along. By the end of the session - Darcy and Samuel were kicking goals from everywhere!
The session concluded with an autograph opportunity with the players and time for an intimate Q & A. After farewelling the players, the guests were then taken over to the Port Club to enjoy lunch and to debrief on the unique experience made possible from the generosity of Coca-Cola.
