DREW Petrie appears in doubt for Saturday night's clash with St Kilda after wearing a guard on his left wrist at training on Monday and protecting his left hand in marking and catching drills.
Petrie initially was involved in a stationary handball drill, catching the footy using only his right hand, before sitting out of any work that would have required both hands.
In a kick-to-kick session with Shaun Higgins, the 33-year-old only used his right hand to mark.
Brent Harvey believed Petrie would line up against the Saints in Harvey's record-breaking 427th game.
"Knowing Drewy, he'll be icing that at two in the morning, four in the morning, six in the morning. He does everything right," Harvey said after training.
"He's probably just making sure that's he's going to get up this week.
"I'm not even sure what was wrong. It might have been a little bit inflamed or a little bit swollen, so he's just got a compression bandage on it.
"I don't think he'll miss this game."
