MELBOURNEfc has added four new faces to its preliminary squad of 25 to take on Carlton at the MCG on Sunday afternoon.
The Demons have named rugged midfielder Brent Moloney, promising forward Colin Garland, and defenders James Frawley and Matthew Warnock on the extended interchange, after they all had stand out performances for Sandringham over the weekend.
Key forward Brad Miller will miss this week due to suspension, after he accepted the rough conduct charge handed down to him by the match review panel, while skilful defender Daniel Bell will run out for his 50th game at the Club.
Carlton will no doubt be full of confidence after ending a losing streak of their own in a win over Collingwood last week. The Melbourne group is looking forward to the challenge, with senior coach Dean Bailey urging the Melbourne members and supporters to get to the MCG, and support the Club’s home game. "We need our members and supporters to come and support us during this tough time, so that when we do come through and we hit the blue sky, at least they've been with us when we've struggled and hopefully they're going to be with us when we come out of the end.”
