WITH Neale Daniher hailing from the country, you would have thought he'd relish the opportunity to be in the driver's seat at a regional footballvenue.

Instead, he left it to assistant Mark Riley to step up to the wheel. In more ways than one it seems.

Indeed, when Daniher handed the main coaching duties to his assistant for the team's tussle with Adelaide in Mount Gambier on Saturday it turned out to be the 'wheel deal' for his trusted deputy.

Daniher and Riley, along with fellow assistant coaches Peter Curran andPaul Williams, Leigh Newton (media manager) and Sam Wloszczowski (opposition match-ups), watched the Demons fall to the Crows by 56 points from an Allan Scott (of Port Adelaide's sponsorship fame) truck.

The vehicle was parked right up on the Blue Lake Sports Ground boundaryfence with tables and chairs perched in the truck for the coaching staff.

Which begs the question: What did Adelaide use for its coaching box?

Naturally, a coaches' box.

For Melbourne, it's simply a case of 'keep on truckin'.
