Lade and Wilson, both 31, were dropped for the game against the Western Bulldogs in Darwin last week with the latter responding with a best-on-ground performance for the Port Adelaide Magpies in the SANFL.
Lade’s team, South Adelaide, had a bye but he is expected to play for the Panthers this week.
Wilson, who snapped his achilles tendon in last year’s preliminary final, was recalled in round nine after missing the entire pre-season, while Lade has endured a decline in form from his All-Australian efforts of 2006 and 2007.
"Ladey and Wilbur [Wilson] have been and are still champions of our club," Cassisi said.
"Wilbur has come back from a long-term injury. Ideally, we would have liked to have played him a little bit less [than what we did] in each of the games and given him an opportunity to build his form and match fitness up, but given the position we were in and the fact that we were losing games, he probably wasn’t managed perfectly.
"I know he went back to the Magpies and played well for them on the weekend and as for Ladey, he’s one of our best players and he’ll come back in for sure."
Peter Burgoyne, 30, is another senior player yet to recapture his brilliant form of last season.
The dashing defender injured his hamstring in the game against Richmond and, like Chad Cornes, will be tested before resuming next week.
Cassisi said the match committee would determine whether the eldest Burgoyne would be brought straight back into the team, but said the premiership player’s experience was invaluable.
"Peter is very skilful, he’s fast and he has played well for us over a long period of time," he said.
"He still has a lot to offer us."
