When Andrew McLeod and his Dream Team run out onto the MCG on May 10  they will have the weight of 1246 football clubs across Australia on  their shoulders.

As a tribute to the lifeblood of Australian Football, all grassroots  and community football clubs from the ACT, New South  Wales, Northern  Territory, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania and Western Australia are named on the Dream  Team guernsey.

Each of the 1246 community clubs  appear on the guernsey twice in alphabetical order, and fans can now see where their favourite club appears here.

By simply moving the magnifying glass over the guernsey, fans can  browse the club names and zoom closer with a click of the mouse.

Dream Team Captain Andrew  McLeod said the initiative honoured the  important role community football clubs play throughout Australia.

“The 25 best players from outside  Victoria  will play for the Dream Team  and we all will take great pride  in representing both our grassroots club and home  state.”

"The first thing I did when I first saw the  guernsey was look for my grassroots club, Darwin. Now fans have the opportunity to do the same," McLeod said.

The Dream Team will play Victoria in the Hall of Fame Tribute match  at the MCG on Saturday night, May 10.

More than 300 AFL players who do not play in the Hall of Fame Tribute  Match will attend grassroots and community football matches across the  country.

Fans wishing to  attend a game 150 years in the making can purchase tickets online via ticketmaster.com.au or by calling the Ticketmaster phone booking service on 1300 136 122.
