MELBOURNEfc's Russell Robertson has been cleared of any facial damage after receiving results from scans earlier today. Club officials were concerned about Robertson's jaw but but were relieved when the results identified that Robertson's jaw was bruised and not fractured. Robertson left the field on Friday night after a heavy collision will Hawthorn's Zac Dawson and didn't return.

When asked about his jaw Robertson said, "It's a bit sore but it's only bruised so I'll be right for next week. I don't feel like eating too much at the moment with the jaw and might need to visit the dentist for a chipped a tooth."

Robertson was the only concern following the Demons big win against the Hawks, which is good news for MELBOURNEfc supporters ahead of Sunday's match against West Coast at Subiaco.

Defenders Paul Wheatley and Nathan Brown will be a chance to return to the line-up next week.
