Started on the bench, but he was prominent in the second term with seven touches. Played only 52 per cent of overall game time yet still finished with 19 disposals and showed he could mix it with the best. Was in the centre square for many centre bounces and looked calm and composed when he had the ball.

Impressed across half-back. Was Victoria's equal leading ball-winner by three quarter-time, before finishing with 21 touches. Was instrumental in Victoria gaining the lead at half time, and regularly placed himself in dangerous positions where he was able to launch attacks and drive the ball forward.

Victoria's No.2 ruckman had 13 hit-outs and played an important role. Contested well in the air and on the ground, and some of his tap work was excellent, with a highlight being his tap to Brent Harvey which set up a Victorian goal in the third term. Came from the field at the 14-minute mark of the final term with a knee injury. Also dished out a strong bump on Dream Team's Ryan Griffen.

Showed glimpses of his brilliance playing on a half forward flank and impressed with his work rate off the ball. Kicked a great long-distance goal off a couple of steps in the second quarter and finished with three majors. Forced a turnover with a brilliant double effort in the final term, and overall was one of the most dangerous attacking players on the ground.
