A strong start from a commercial viewpoint, with a Saturday night derby against West Coast to open the season, and two home Friday night matches in the month that follows. In between, though, is a dreaded trip to Launceston to face Hawthorn. Ross Lyon's men face only two 2012 finalists twice: the Eagles and Adelaide. They should have a comfortable run into the finals, with matches against Greater Western Sydney, Melbourne, Port Adelaide and St Kilda in the last month.
CLUB REACTION
"The interest in our first four games will be significant. We anticipate the first four home games will be heavily patronised, with the potential for all four games to be sell-out fixtures. Every fixture presents its opportunities and challenges, so overall, and taking into account the challenges associated with such issues as six-day breaks and our heavy travel schedule, we are satisfied with our spread of games across the home and away season." - Fremantle CEO Steve Rosich.
