The Hawthorn Football Club is proud to announce an exciting new ticketing program, Hawks Heroes. This program has been introduced to give those who may not be in a position to attend the football, the chance to experience our great game.

The Club receives many requests from individuals and organisations that are unable to purchase tickets to the football and has realised an immediate need to implement a program that would help to give these supporters a chance to see a football match.

Through the generous donation of memberships from many different organisations including the Bendigo Hawks Supporters Group and the Thornbirds, as well as individuals including Claire Dandie from Northern Territory and the Wells family who are Hawks supporters residing in the United States, the Club is in a position to offer tickets to see the Hawks play at home games throughout the season.

Prior to the official introduction of the Hawks Heroes program, the Club assisted people from groups such as Big Brothers/Big Sisters in Wangaratta by providing them with tickets to Hawthorn matches.

People associated with the Club's four community partners - The Rioli Fund for Aboriginal Health, Down Syndrome Victoria, Beacon Foundation and Good Beginning - have also received tickets to Hawthorn games throughout the year.

If you would like to take up this offer, or know someone who would benefit from this program, simply email community@hawthornfc.com.au outlining why you should receive tickets through Hawks Heroes and the Club will consider your application.

The Club would like to thank all of those individuals and organisations who donate memberships to this program. If you would like to contribute to the program in 2010, contact the Community department by emailing community@hawthornfc.com.au
