September action begins a month early as the Dream Team finals kick off this week.

With only four rounds remaining, the Dream Team competition now goes into finals mode to determine the winner for each league.

After 20 rounds, ‘#1 Why Try Harder’ continues to lead the Adelaide Crows group on 43,010, 162 points ahead of Alias.

Nationwide, Ron’s team ‘BRC’s Galore’ has taken out the minor premiership for 2011.

Finishing strongly in the last round, Ron coached his team to a total score of 43,877 points to claim victory over Jason, ‘Pies R back 2 back’ with 43,852 and Aaron ‘The Trade Savers’ on 43,744.

Ron’s minor success puts him in good stead to win the car at the end of the finals competition.

South Australian team ‘In with a chance’ coached by Sebastian has defeated ‘Micheal’ by four points in the last regular season game.

Micheal’s team dominated the second half of the season only to finish second in the South Australia rankings. However, Micheal will have a short wait to play rival Sebastian, as the final series starts this week.

On the field, Dane Swan has continued his good form picking up 155 DT points in round 20. Swan has averaged more than 135 points a game since returning from injury and sits 3rd in overall player rankings. Heath Scotland and Steve Johnson also had big rounds scoring 148 and 146 points respectively.

Scott Thompson led from the front in the Crows victory over Brisbane on Sunday. Thompson had 38 disposals for 138 DT points while Nathan van Berlo (137) and Sam Jacobs (118) also had outstanding games in the narrow win at the Gabba.
