The Collingwood Football Club wishes to advise that Blake Caracella has resigned from his position as assistant coach to take up an assistant coaching job with the Geelong Football Club.

Caracella, 32, has been an assistant coach at Collingwood for three years, since he retired from playing at the elite level at the end of 2006. He played 187 games and won two premierships in a 10-year career with Essendon, Brisbane and Collingwood.

The club thanks him for his service and wishes him all the best at his new club.
