Early Dream Team pacesetter Jodie McDonough still leads the Adelaide Football Club’s group.

The Top Drop coach scored 2016 points in round five for a season total of 10,502 and is now just three points clear of Michael Staff’s team after he scored 2177 on the long weekend. The national leader has a season total of 10,913.

The highest team score in round three in the Crows group was 2200 by coach Jonathon Mourcella.

On the field, Geelong’s Gary Ablett was the highest scorer of round 5 with 145 points, lifting his round average to 131.40.

Scott Thompson was Adelaide’s heaviest scorer with 108 points and his 2010 average is 90.6.

But the news that the Crows’ most popular Dream Team pick Patrick Dangerfield will be out for a month will force 81,535 coaches to consider a trade.
