Jacob Brennan, Quinten Lynch, Matt Rosa, Scott Selwood and Lewis Stevenson attended the Merredin Regional Community and Leisure Centre and joined locals in a game of lawn bowls as well as a BBQ dinner before speaking about the different highs and lows they have experienced in their careers and how they have overcome different challenges.
Around 60 people were present at the event as Quinten Lynch spoke about his farming background and related to many of the local farmers facing drought.
‘These guys have been doing it tough the last few years and events like this are really beneficial for everyone,’ he said.
West Coast’s entire playing squad were out-and-about in the community last week with players visiting the towns of Newman, Carnarvon, Exmouth and Merredin as well as taking part in a number of activities throughout Perth.
