We are from WA and were so ecstatic to get to the first game of the season..... If that means driving 500 Kms one way to do so, we will.... So its all stops to see our boys play...... Flags, wings, shirts whatever we have to cheer loud and let our boys know that we love them to bits.
We got to the game early and sat one row behind the Official Cheer Squad..... They saw our wings and asked us to all go out onto the oval and help them put up the banner for our boys to run through.... We thought that we were in heaven..... and nothing was going to stop us....
We were waiting in the chase pinching ourselves.... Not believing that we would be out in the middle of Subi oval holding the banner for our boys..... ahhhhhh....!!!!!!
Just before we got to go out Pam saw my shoes they were open foot and she told me that I wasn't able to go out there.... My heart was racing so close, but so far .......and the dream about to go pear shape....No ....!!!!!
I was looking around and I spotted a girl in the stand with closed in shoes and I wasn't going to give up..... So here went nothing to loose.... Hi, I said how are you Ummm can I wear your shoes....??????? (everyone around me just laughed) She was supposed to be supporting West Coast.... because of her boyfriend she said but yeah why not, a chance in a life time to support your boys out on the oval, here you go........ Oh wow what a champ.
I just got them on and we were off out onto the oval....... getting all the banner ready, putting it up and watching our beloved boys tear through............... What an experience, we were all so excited, for the rest of the game we cheered loud and proud................. Go Sainters.......!!!!!
We Love our boys and will always be there loud and strong in the west..........wearing closed in shoes at every game.
