The Brisbane Lions Foundation is a non-profit national organisation dedicated to providing a solid financial base for the Brisbane Lions AFC to achieve strategic long-term growth.
The Foundation assists the Lions by funding special Club projects and financial investments on their behalf, using donations and bequests generously supplied by members and supporters.
A bequest is a gift specified in your Will that reserves your estate or a list of assets to an identified beneficiary. It is easy to include a bequest to The Brisbane Lions Foundation in your Will. It can be done at the time of writing your Will or you can add a codicil to an existing Will.
When deciding to make a bequest, you may wish to inform The Foundation of your decision. Knowing your intentions allows The Foundation to plan ahead, show its gratitude and discuss with you how your generous investment could be best utilised.
Your support will be recognised in a number of ways. Unless privacy is requested, contributions are recognised in The Brisbane Lions Foundation Annual Report, The Foundation website’s Donor Registry and e-newsletter, and the Lions Club publications: The Lions Tale newsletters, Brisbane Lions Season Guide and Brisbane Lions Season Review.
