They’ve played on the competition’s best for most of their careers but tonight Brent Harvey and Brady Rawlings will face one of the biggest tests of their lives; each other.

kangaroos.com.au understands Brad Scott and his assistant coaches have elected to match-up the reigning Syd Barker Medal winners at tonight’s highly anticipated intra-club match at Eureka Stadium in Ballarat.

A prolific ball winner, Harvey will have his hands full with the defensive general Rawlings tagging him all over the ground. On the flip side, Rawlings will have to be at his best in order to shut-down Harvey and his ability to break a game wide open.

It’s also believed local hero Drew Petrie will have a pair of Delaney’s to contend with in the forward line. With Nathan Grima out with a back injury, Scott has turned to rookie Luke Delaney to get the job done on the club’s vice-captain. He'll have plenty of support with his younger brother Cameron, also down back to take on Petrie at some stage during the match.

Another local boy, Cameron Richardson, is in for a tough night lining up on running machine Ben Warren while former best and fairest winner Andrew Swallow will get an up close look at the returning Liam Anthony who will have his first serious hit-out since a shoulder dislocation last year.

Daniel Pratt will be aiming to take down Aaron Edwards in front of a crowd expected to be in excess of a thousand.

The breakdown of teams won’t be known until closer to the bounce at 6.30pm, with players from North’s VFL affiliates North Ballarat and Werribee available to help top up the squads.
