After 190 days it will finally happen. Or perhaps after 44 years it’s finally going to happen. The 2007 AFL and VFL premiership flags will be unfurled in a ceremony prior to the Cats match with Melbourne on Sunday.

The day’s events will run as follows:

9.20am – Gates open
9.30am – VFL Curtain Raiser, Bendigo Bank Cats vs. Werribee
12.15pm – VFL Curtain Raiser concludes
12.30pm – Fans encouraged to be seated by this time
12.40pm – Premiership flag ceremony begins
12.55pm – Premiership flag ceremony concludes
1.10pm – Geelong Cats vs. Melbourne Demons begins

Ceremony times may be subject to change due to weather and the VFL match length. Fans are encouraged to arrive at, or prior to, 12.30pm if they wish to view the entire flag unfurling ceremony.

Please note Sunday April 6 is the end of daylight savings. This means you need to put your clock back one hour.
