HAWTHORN’S Jordan Lewis and Richmond's Kayne Pettifer have both accepted one match suspensions after pleading guilty to striking offences during the weekend's AFL round.
Lewis admitted to striking North Melbourne's Daniel Pratt during the first quarter of Saturday's match at Telstra Dome, a game in which he played a starring role in the club's comeback victory.
It was the midfielder's first game back since he was suspended in last year's finals series for striking another Kangaroos player, Brent Harvey.
He will now miss Sunday's clash with Adelaide in Launceston.
Pettifer will miss the Tigers' trip to Perth to play Fremantle on Sunday.
He pleaded guilty to striking Collingwood's Nick Maxwell during the second quarter of Sunday's game at the MCG.
Three other players, Hawthorn's Michael Osborne and Essendon pair Mark McVeigh and Adam Ramanauskas have accepted reprimands for low-grade striking offences.
Osborne admitted to striking North's Andrew Swallow, Ramanauskas to striking Carlton's Eddie Betts and McVeigh to striking the Blues' Brendan Fevola.
The guilty pleas by all five players mean the tribunal will not sit on Tuesday night.
