The entire Lions playing squad stepped out for the day - which was warm but fortunately dry - and thrilled supporters by mingling with the crowds at various checkpoints and signing countless autographs.
Amongst the most popular features was the player photos booth, which offered Lions devotees (young and old alike) to be photographed with their favourite players. Lions players were also happy to lend a hand at sign-on stalls for local junior clubs.
The handball target at the tent of major sponsors AAPT proved a big hit, as did the speed kick facility - which allowed budding Lions to measure their kicking power in km/h.
On-stage interviews, hosted by former Lions and now Triple M callers Alastair Lynch and Richard Champion, kept the punters entertained, while a demonstration match organised by AFL Queensland showcased the wares of Recreational Football.
On a more light-hearted note, the fictional crew from "UKTV" caught out numerous fans with their "interviews" - even springing surprises on a couple of Lions players.
The AAPT Brisbane Lions would like to thank all those involved with day, including AFL Queensland, Kedron FC and all junior clubs - and especially the fans who braved the heat to help make it a true celebration of Queensland football.
The club would also like to acknowledge the three key donors for the Footy Fun Day raffle - AAPT, Conrad Jupiters and Konica Minolta - for donating some fantastic prizes.
