About the Opportunity
AFL SportsReady currently has an exciting position available for someone wanting to pursue an administrative/retail career in the football industry.
In this position, you will be legally employed by AFL SportsReady for a 12 month duration and undertake a traineeship with an accredited Certificate III Business (Retail) qualification. Working for our Host Employer; Essendon Football Club the successful trainee will receive paid on the job training and education.
The primary purpose of this role will be to provide well-developed product and service knowledge to internal and external customers as well as a broad knowledge base in a wide variety of administrative contexts.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Customer service
• Cash handling
• Maintain and order stock
• Maintain store safety and security
• Merchandise presentation
• Communicate with colleagues and customers
• Organise resources, equipment and timelines
• Make decisions about classification and storage of records
Skills & Experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Well developed customer service skills
• Able to work well within a team
• Ability to problem-solve
• Excellent organisational skills
• Must be an Australian Citizen
