Position Title: Graphic Designer
Status: Full Time
Reports to: Marketing & Brand Manager
Department: Commercial Operations and Marketing

Position Overview:
The Richmond Football Club is seeking a versatile Graphic Designer to support their increasing design needs. This newly created full time position suits applicants with a minimum 3 years experience with an existing in-house design studio or design agency.
Along with conceptual ability, this role requires strong design skills and the ability to take a project from initial brief right through to finished art, preparation for print and roll out.
Proficiency in print and online graphic design is essential. Key projects will include (but certainly not limited to) print brochures, presentation documents, print and online advertising, marketing/sales collateral, signage and retail merchandise design, events, membership, and Club website design.
The successful candidate will be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite on a Mac platform.







Responsibilities:
• Develop concepts and produce finished artwork for advertising materials and support collateral
• Design of brochures, point-of sale items, logos, DM and eDM pieces and a range of marketing materials
• Work closely with all internal RFC departments as well as key external agencies and suppliers
• Produce brand presentations - PowerPoint/key note presentations
• Developing website creative, eDM and HTML emails
• Ensure the RFC design Style Guide is followed at all times
• Given the nature of a football club, the role includes participation and assistance on game day and Club events

Essential qualifications and experience:
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure, while managing numerous projects at any one time
• Strong layout skills and excellent finished art skills across all mediums
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, and be ready to hit the ground running
• The ability to understand and interpret creative briefs
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Experience working with design programs including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat and Quickcut as well as basic digital production techniques
• Demonstrated initiative, enthusiasm, professionalism and pride in your work

Conditions of employment:
• 3 Month probation
• Salary will be negotiated depending on qualifications and experience.
