Geelong’s VFL captain James Podsiadly has won the best & fairest ahead of Simon Hogan and Brodie Moles.
Podsiadly polled 151 votes to easily win the award. He polled votes in 12 of the 17 games he played this season. Podsiadly also won two best & fairests at Werribee and is among the favourites to win a second Liston Trophy when the votes are counted on Monday.
Hogan polled 97 votes in just eight games. In his third year with the Cats, Hogan broke through to play 10 AFL games, including the qualifying final win over the Bulldogs.
Moles is in his second year as rookie and was among the most consistent players in the VFL this season.
