ST KILDA forward Justin Koschitzke has been offered a three-match suspension by the match review panel.

Koschitzke was charged with engaging in a rough conduct offence against the Swans’ Nick Malceski in the opening minutes of Saturday’s night’s clash at ANZ Stadium.

The 27-year-old’s poor tribunal record means his sanction cannot be reduced with an early plea.

Koschitzke’s contact with Malceski was classed as reckless conduct with medium impact and high contact, resulting in a level three offence drawing 325 demerit points and a three match ban.

He still has 53.52 points carried over from striking Adelaide’s Richard Douglas last year as well as being suspended for three matches over the past year. This increases the penalty to 476.02 points and a four-game ban but an early plea reduces the penalty back to 357.02 points and three games.

The match review panel has dismissed a match day report on Essendon’s David Hille for charging Geelong’s Jimmy Bartel, ruling that Hille had his eyes on the ball and was attempting a chest mark.

Koschitzke’s teammate Brendon Goddard was charged with making negligent contact with an umpire and fined $1200, which can be reduced to $900 with an early plea.

Incidents involving Carlton’s Jarrad Waite, North Melbourne’s Brent Harvey and Bulldogs Ryan Hargrave and Jason Akermanis were assessed and dismissed.
