Accounts Receivable/Payroll Officer

The Company

The Western Bulldogs, as one of the 17 clubs of the Australian Football League (AFL) and situated in the fastest growing region of Australia, is breaking new ground in delivering sustainable, high level performances, both on and off field. Looking to continue the exciting levels of growth experienced in key football related income areas, the Club is currently seeking a suitably qualified Accounts Receivable/ Payroll Officer to oversee all operational elements of the Club’s Debtor and Payroll management.

The Position

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the following:-
• all facets of the Accounts Receivable Function (inc. Banking, Debt Collection, Reconciliations)
• end to end payroll function (inc. processing Time sheets, Monthly reporting, OHS and Award maintenance)
• other administrative tasks such as Reception relief and Document Management will also form part of this role.
The Candidate

An experienced Accounts Receivable Officer who is extremely organised with a strong focus on achieving results is needed for this role.
Essential criteria:
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Accounts Receivable preferably using Microsoft Great Plains
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong time management skills
• Demonstrated dispute management
• Intermediate MS Excel skills
Previous experience with payroll administration would also be preferred although not essential.

Due to the nature of the business, some weekend work during the football season and attendance at certain events will be required and applicants must be prepared to contribute to the Club in such a manner.
