POSITION DETAILS
The Sydney Swans are currently accepting applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals in the position of Senior Manager, Membership & CRM.
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer in the Club’s Marketing Department, this position will have prime responsibility for the development and implementation of best practice customer retention, acquisition, recognition and reward programs. In addition this position will be responsible for the creation of affinity programs for Sydney Swans existing members, coteries, supporters, new prospects / fans, Team SWANS, AFL related kids/juniors programs and other key stakeholders. This must be built on a strong customer oriented philosophy, integrating CRM, membership and on-line new business development, which is consistent with the Sydney Swans positioning as a premium sporting brand in Australia.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Grow membership and manage the membership program generally.
Manage the implementation of the membership CRM database & management systems.
Support initiatives to grow match day attendances.
Assist the Club to develop new markets (e.g. North Western Sydney).
Provide ongoing strategic support to the Chief Marketing Officer.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Sound knowledge and understanding of customer relationship management / service in a professional marketing organisation.
Proven track record in database management and systems integration.
Customer empathy and service focused.
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENT
Experience and/or exposure to the sporting environment.
Demonstrated ability to lead a team in a complex operational environment.
Excellent IT/systems capabilities and experience.
Understanding of new digital media and web based opportunities.
