Seedsman injured his left hamstring in the opening quarter of Saturday night's 13-point loss to Melbourne at Adelaide Oval.
CROWS FALL SHORT Full match coverage and stats
The 26-year-old has played a vital role for the Crows this season, averaging 21.5 disposals and 4.4 Inside 50s in his 16 previous games before the loss to the Demons.
"It's unlikely Paul will play next week so we'll need at least one replacement," Crows coach Don Pyke said after the game.
Seedsman will have scans on Monday to determine the extent of the damage.
He kicked a goal from the boundary before sustaining the injury at the 15-minute mark of the first term.
The Crows had a spate of hamstring injuries early in the season, but haven't had many recently after tweaking their training program.
ARE THE CROWS COOKED? Five talking points
Seedsman has played 86 career games, with 37 at the Crows after playing 49 games at Collingwood.
He is yet to re-sign with the Crows beyond the end of this season.
